Every Freshdesk plan and what it costs
Read from the vendor's own pricing page on 27 September 2026. Charged as subscription. Free trial: 14 days.
| Plan | Price | Billing | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | $19 | per month | per agent, billed annually - Email only - the page describes it as service "over email". Ticketing and shared inbox, customer portal and knowledge base, reporting, and Freddy AI Agent with 500 free sessions, once per account |
| Pro | $55 | per month | per agent, billed annually - Adds custom roles, multiple products and advanced analytics. Still email-led rather than omnichannel |
| Enterprise | $89 | per month | per agent, billed annually - Adds audit logs, sandbox and skills-based routing |
| Freshdesk Omni Growth | $29 | per month | per agent, billed annually - The omnichannel edition, and the tier to compare against rivals' entry plans. Chat, messaging and social alongside email, with the knowledge base and 500 free AI Agent sessions, once per account |
| Freshdesk Omni Pro | $79 | per month | per agent, billed annually - The omnichannel equivalent of Pro |
| Freshdesk Omni Enterprise | $119 | per month | per agent, billed annually - The omnichannel equivalent of Enterprise |
| Freddy AI Copilot Add-on | $29 | per month | per agent - Agent assistance. Listed as an add-on on Pro and Enterprise only, not on Growth |
| Additional Freddy AI Agent sessions Add-on | $49 | per usage | Per 100 sessions, after the 500 free sessions each account gets once, which Freshworks describes as a way to try the AI Agent rather than a monthly allowance |
| Day passes Add-on | $2 | per usage | Per pass on Growth, $7 on Pro and $12 on Enterprise, for occasional agents rather than full seats. On Freshdesk Omni a pass is $5 on Growth, $10 on Pro and $15 on Enterprise |

What Freshdesk costs beyond the advertised price
Each of these is a figure you can check on the vendor's own page. The arithmetic is shown so you can redo it rather than take our word for it.
- Charged on top of a plan$348 a year
Freddy AI Copilot is charged on top of a plan rather than instead of one: $29 a month, which is $348 a year on top of whichever tier you hold.
Working$29 a month x 12 = $348 a year, added to a tier price rather than replacing it.

What Freshdesk actually costs over a year
A monthly price is not the same thing as a monthly contract. These are the plans above resolved both ways, per seat or unit where the plan is charged that way. Where a vendor quotes only a yearly figure it is divided by twelve rather than left out, and the Quoted column says which figure the vendor actually publishes.
| Plan | Quoted | Monthly | Over 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growthper agent, billed annually | per month | $19 | $228 |
| Proper agent, billed annually | per month | $55 | $660 |
| Enterpriseper agent, billed annually | per month | $89 | $1,068 |
| Freshdesk Omni Growthper agent, billed annually | per month | $29 | $348 |
| Freshdesk Omni Proper agent, billed annually | per month | $79 | $948 |
| Freshdesk Omni Enterpriseper agent, billed annually | per month | $119 | $1,428 |
| Freddy AI Copilot add-onper agent | per month | $29 | $348 |

Compiled 18 September 2026 from the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. Plan names were matched against the archived page text and the first currency-anchored figure within 160 characters was recorded, rejecting any figure with a competing plan name standing between it and the name it was matched to. The currency and the unit were read from each capture rather than assumed: captures served in a currency other than $, and captures where no plan name sat beside a figure, are listed as unread rather than dropped. Archived pages show the price as served to the archive's crawler, which may differ by region from the price you are shown.
Freshdesk pricing against its competitors
Compared on the smallest invoice each vendor will accept, not on the advertised per-seat rate. Where a product has a seat minimum, the figure below is the minimum times the rate, because that is the cheque you would actually write.
| Product | Cheapest paid entry | Free plan | Against Freshdesk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freshdesk | $19 a month | No | This product |
| Zendesk | $19 a month | No | Same |
Which Freshdesk plan should you buy?
| Your situation | Recommended | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A small support team needs email ticketing done properly | Growth | $19 per agent billed annually, including automations and a knowledge base. |
| You support several products or need custom roles | Pro | $55 per agent. A large step, bought for multi-product support and analytics. |
| You need audit logs, sandbox and skills-based routing | Enterprise | $89 per agent, and generally a compliance or scale requirement rather than a support one. |
| You want AI assistance for agents | Budget Freddy AI separately | $29 per agent a month on top of any tier, which is more than the Growth plan itself. Price it deliberately. |
| You need internal IT service management | Look at Freshservice instead | Freshdesk is customer support; Freshservice is the ITSM sibling. |
| You need the deepest integration ecosystem | Consider Zendesk instead | Zendesk's marketplace and app depth remain ahead. |
Two products, two prices, and the $19 one is email only
Freshworks sells Freshdesk and Freshdesk Omni on separate pages, and the difference decides most comparisons. Growth at $19 an agent a month is described on its own page as launching AI-powered service “over email”. Chat, messaging and social live in Freshdesk Omni, whose Growth tier is $29.
| Tier | Freshdesk, email | Freshdesk Omni, omnichannel | Zendesk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry | $19 an agent | $29 an agent | $19, email and ticketing only |
| Mid | $55 an agent | $79 an agent | $55, Suite Team |
| Upper | $89 an agent | $119 an agent | $115, Suite Professional |
All figures are per agent per month billed annually. Read across the entry row: Freshdesk Omni Growth at $29 an agent a month is the tier that compares with Zendesk Suite Team at $55, and it is roughly half the price. Comparing the $19 column against Zendesk’s Suite is the same error as comparing Zendesk’s $19 against anybody else’s full plan.
What Freddy AI costs after the free sessions
Two different Freddy products, priced very differently:
- Freddy AI Agent is on every plan, and each account gets 500 free sessions once, to try it. After that, sessions are $49 per 100. That is the AI that answers customers, so a desk sending 500 conversations a month to it pays $245 a month for them once the free sessions are used.
- Freddy AI Copilot is $29 an agent a month and assists your agents rather than replacing them. The pricing page lists it as an add-on on Pro and Enterprise, and not on Growth.
We first recorded only the second of those, and then read the 500 sessions as a monthly allowance. The pricing FAQ says they are “limited to once per account”. A session is also not the same unit as Intercom’s $0.99 outcome or Help Scout’s $0.75 resolution elsewhere in support, so those figures do not compare directly with $49 per 100.
Freshdesk or Freshservice?
Freshworks sells two similar products and buyers mix them up. Freshdesk is for external customer support. Freshservice is for internal IT service management, with incident, change and asset handling. If your requirement is an internal help desk, buy the other one.
Where it falls short
Reporting is the most common complaint: Explore in Zendesk is more flexible once you want unusual cuts of the data. The integration marketplace is smaller, which matters if you depend on a niche tool. And there is no free tier, so evaluation means a 14-day trial rather than running it in production first.

What this profile is based on
Nobody here has used Freshdesk. This profile is desk research: prices read from the pages cited below, on the dates shown , from 2 primary sources , with 2 captures taken by us . How we research a profile.
Desk research from Freshworks' own Freshdesk and Freshdesk Omni pricing pages, re-read on 27 September 2026 through a United States egress. Reading both was the point: the $19 plan and the omnichannel plan are on separate pages, and comparing the first against rivals' full plans is the mistake this catalogue made in its own cost model until now. Nobody here has used Freshdesk.
